Although the precision of engine components is already produced by high precision instruments, they still need a break-in process to allow your engine to perform at its best and increase durability.

After the engine is assembled, the piston should be fitted with the piston liner in order to produce optimum performance.

This process is very important, sensitive and sometimes painful.

In fact, during the engine break-in process, you must limit the overheating or the engine speed.

You can solve all these problems with the all new break-in system - SMART Engine Break In Box.

All the best engine manufacturers in the world are unanimous: only thermal break-in with combustion allows optimum break-in. Oil bath break-ins are not recommended.

The SMART Engine Break In Box is the first propeller break-in system with all the necessary break-in tools integrated into a compact system. A compact and professional break-in tool for your engine.

For break-in on REDS ENGINES, you will need the extra cooling head shim (not included).

Security:

• The propeller is protected by a large safety cover to prevent unnecessary accidents or injury during system operation.
• Integrated starter, a simpler and easier way to start a whole new engine without additional tools.
• The adjustable engine mount and muffler mount will fit most .21 and .12 scale engines (optional .12 scale engine mount required) and market exhausts.
• The combination of RPM and temperature controller displays accurate live weather data on the screen.
• Fill the large fuel tank perfectly via the fuel inlet / outlet thanks to the integrated fuel pump.
• The system is fully protected by an individual fuse block to provide safety and worry-free user experience.
• Last but not least, the parameters can be modified at will in the system so as to adapt perfectly to your running-in preferences.
